Tamara graduated from Federation University in 2017 and joined the team in 2021 becoming the first Exercise Physiologist here at Icaria Health. Growing up in Albury/Wodonga Tamara would like to improve the health and wellbeing of our community and greater.
Tamara has experience with returning to work and life through the implementation of exercise to your everyday life. Tamara will gather health and exercise history to develop an exercise program that is both safe and effective in achieving the required health goals. This may include a supervised one on one or group exercise program. Tamara will be able to assist you with the management of type-2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, arthritis, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, falls prevention, and much more. Research has proven that exercise, at the correct intensity and duration, not only improves quality of life but can decrease the incidence and help manage many health conditions.
Tamara works on the Adult team with Icaria, assisting clients in community health with Home Care Packages and NDIS clients. Outside of work Tamara will be at the park with her daughter, playing or umpiring netball.
