Rachael obtained her Education Degree at an indigenous university Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi in New Zealand and undertook further study in “Cultural Understanding Safety Training”. Whilst working in the education setting Rachael specialised in supporting families with complex trauma backgrounds.

Rachael previously held a Specialist Services Management role where she managed the Behaviour Support, Support Coordination and Early Childhood Intervention Therapy teams. Rachael is a registered behaviour support practitioner and teacher in NSW and VIC. Rachael brings a wealth of experience to meet the needs of people who have psychosocial disabilities and to help them achieve their goals furthering her studies in Restrictive Practices with Young People, Restrictive Practices with Dementia and Suicide Prevention training.

Rachael joined Icaria Health in 2023 to provide support to the adult therapy team.

When not at work Rachael enjoys playing or watching sport and spending time with her young family.
