Senior Speech Pathologist

Melissa joined the Icaria Health team in 2018. Melissa has worked in a range of settings from paediatrics to aged care since graduating and has a passion for supporting people with progressive neurological disorders, developmental disability and augmentative and alternative communication. Melissa loves supporting people in finding their voice or their own way of communicating.

Melissa has an affinity for showing empathy for people’s experiences, remaining a strong advocate and helping them to navigate the complexities and opportunities within the NDIS. Melissa enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team and supporting her colleagues in her role as senior speech pathologist.

Melissa was born and bred in Wollongong however has lived in Albury for the last few years. Outside of work Melissa enjoys getting out in nature, playing piano and spending time with her family.
