Heike Wilson

Heike has graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2014 and returned to Icaria Health in 2024. Heike has extensive experience across a wide range of settings including in-patient rehabilitation, neurological physiotherapy, and brain injury rehabilitation. Heike is passionate about client focused service delivery by providing goal focused intervention.

Heike grew up in Germany but has been calling Albury home since 2006. She enjoys skiing in winter and walking her dog along the Murray all year around.

Angela Sandral

Angela is dedicated to facilitating the provision of exemplary allied health services within the local community, aiding individuals with age-related changes and disabilities to realise their aspirations through team support, governance, and adherence to service and funding standards.

With a career spanning back to 2008, Angela has garnered extensive experience in senior clinical positions across diverse service environments, assuming leadership and management roles, as well as contributing to advisory and advocacy initiatives. Her passion lies in collaborating with her team to ensure the delivery of best-practice services while fostering leadership both within her own responsibilities and among her peers. Currently pursuing a Masters in Leadership, Angela is committed to continuous professional development and supporting this within the team.

In her capacity as Operations Manager, Angela provides invaluable management oversight, supervision, and mentorship, nurturing the growth of team leaders and fostering the holistic development of the entire team.

Beyond her professional endeavours, Angela is a mother of three, enjoys sport, travel, exploring culinary delights, fine wine, and maintaining an active lifestyle.

Liesa Tighe

Liesa joined Icaria Health in 2018 to help provide leadership and guidance to our physiotherapy services.

Liesa has 30 years experience working in a variety of settings, with her passions  being neurological rehabilitation and aged care. Liesa has a passion for improving service delivery, highlighted by her obtaining a Master of Gerontology through Charles Sturt University.

Liesa is a fun-loving and hard working team member, that always brings a smile to everyone she interacts with!

Julie-Anne Walters

Julie grew up in the local area and obtained her degree at Charles Sturt University in 2003. 

Julie joined Icaria in 2021. Prior to this, Julie worked in rural communities in Gippsland for 18 years, as an OT and Regional Assessment Service assessor. Julie is a caring and considerate professional who is passionate about enabling others to be as independent as possible and get the most out of life.

Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, gardening and walking her dog. 

Emily Gardner

Emily was born and bred in the local area and  completed her OT degree at CSU, graduating in 2015.

Emily has worked in various residential aged care facilities, community therapy, and workplace rehabilitation in various NSW locations. Emily enjoys hearing the life stories of others and is passionate about working with the elderly population and people of all ages with the aim to improve their quality of life and maintain their independence at home for as long as possible.

Emily enjoys playing sports on weekend including women’s football and softball as well as travelling the world and spending time with family and friends.

Nick Cummins

Nick is a Senior Speech Pathologist with over 15 years’ experience working with adults across Melbourne and the Albury–Wodonga region. He has extensive experience supporting adults with swallowing and communication impairments across a range of clinical and community settings.

He is highly skilled in supporting individuals with Parkinson’s disease, including the management of associated communication and swallowing difficulties. Nick is trained in both LSVT and SPEAK OUT!® therapy programs. He also has a strong clinical interest in swallowing and communication difficulties associated with functional neurological disorder. 

He is passionate about improving quality of life through meaningful therapy and ensuring that each person’s voice is heard, respected and supported.

Brittanie Schilg

Brittanie obtained her degree at Charles Sturt University in 2015 and has a passion for working in the disability sector with both Adults.

She also has extensive experience working within the Assistive Technology, Home Modifications and Suitable Disability Accommodation Assessments, helping people to improve their social engagement, goal achievement, outlook, living environments and overall functioning.

Brittanie is a country girl at heart and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves both watching and participating in sports, with tennis being a particular sport of interest.

Sabrina Dalgliesh

Sabrina graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2017 and joined Icaria Health in January 2019.

Sabrina is originally from a farm in a small rural community and began her career in early intervention working with young children and their families before joining the Icarian team.

Sabrina is a kind and caring clinician, passionate about working with individuals to achieve their goals and best possible quality of life. Having grown up in a small community, Sabrina has a particular interest in working in rural communities and providing services to those who otherwise would not have access to healthcare. As a result of this ambition, Sabrina is now providing fulltime services to people in the Berrigan Shire and the surrounding regions – and loving it!

Away from work, Sabrina enjoys being active, playing netball, playing guitar and spending time with friends and family.

Chlorissa Peacock

Chlorissa obtained her Occupational Therapy Degree at Charles Sturt University in 2015 and over the last 6 years has developed a special interest in assistive technology assessment and complex home modifications.

Chlorissa is passionate about helping clients achieve their occupational goals and in particular providing them with skills and opportunities to enhance their independence and live a fulfilling life.

Chlorissa grew up in the local area and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. Chlorissa enjoys cooking wholesome food, and in particular food that focuses on maintaining a healthy gut. Chlorissa loves exercising and is addicted to reformer pilates!

Joanne Hendy

Joanne is a dedicated physiotherapist who graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2014. With a rich background in private practice, she has worked across a wide spectrum of clinical settings, including acute sports injuries, general musculoskeletal care, aged care, hydrotherapy, Pilates, hospital-based rehabilitation, and post-operative recovery.

Her approach is rooted in a deep passion for helping people create meaningful change through movement. Joanne believes in empowering her clients with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to take charge of their health and well-being.

When she’s not in the clinic, Joanne enjoys life’s adventures with her young family. You’ll often find her hiking scenic trails, skiing down snowy slopes, or hitting the pavement for a run.
