Nicola is a speech pathologist working across both the adult and paediatric teams at Icaria. She has experience across a number of different settings, and enjoys working with both adults and children to support all aspects of communication and social participation. She has a passion for working with clients and their families to support their individual needs, and believes that therapy should be flexible and adaptable to suit each person’s lifestyle, abilities and preferences. Nicola enjoys working as part of the diverse Icarian family, and understands the importance of working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to help achieve client outcomes. Nicola is originally from Queensland, and moved to the area in 2019. Although the freezing winters have taken some getting used to, Nicola loves being part of the Albury Wodonga community. When not at work Nicola enjoys staying active outdoors and spending time with her family. Nicola is on maternity leave from June 2021, and plans to return in the first half of 2022.
